We have also been called the most democratic publisher in the world, because our new authors are selected via a writing contest judged by our readers. We strive to maintain a high-quality site, so we reserve the right to reject any story.

The FantasyReaders concept came about from Dan DeBono, the company CEO and Managing Editor. Dan has been a full-time, professional writer/editor for more than a decade and has actively worked on some of the largest Websites in the world, including Southern Company, Sony, Credit Suisse First Boston and TYCO/ADT. Dan also managed Burger King’s corporate Website for quite some time, working on promotions such as: Scooby Doo, Batman, Pokemon and more. He has written well over a thousand stories and features for newspapers, magazines - both fiction and non fiction - and even a few comic books.

His investor-education work alone has appeared in well over
one hundred million copies worldwide. He has written and managed both Online and print publications for: Citigroup, KPMG, Bankers Trust, Travelers, Intuit, Farmers, Chase Manhattan Bank, Bank of N.Y., USAA, NationsBank/BofA, Prudential Securities, American General, Schwab, MetLife, Merrill Lynch and literally dozens of others.
